This verse is the first of two nearly identical verses in Surah Ash-Sharh, differing from the next by only the letter ف.
Displayed on its own, Yusr acts as a foundation of calm and reflection, setting the tone for the space.
As part of the Yusr Pair, the two designs complement each other to create a powerful focal point.

Behind the Design

The deep black reflects the وقار (calm dignity) of the Qur’anic verse. The elongated lines, sharp yet smooth, seem to dominate the closed square — but a closer look reveals balance. Looking more carefully, we discover a spacious opening at the very beginning, at the ء. This piece is an attempt to translate a struggle: though it may appear overwhelming, God’s رحمة (mercy) is always present.
